I have very fond memories of practicing my faith with my family as a child.  One of my earliest memories is praying the rosary together.  The family that prays together stays together they say.  We are still all very close.  No matter how much time passes when we see each other it's like we just saw each other yesterday.  Another vivid memory is when I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to tell my mom of some sins I had committed at different times in my childhood and she would always reply "You have to go to confession."  I also remember the relief at doing so.  The straightforward faith of my mom has stayed with me til today.  If you sin, without question, you go to confession and receive the peace that comes with true forgiveness.  Mk. 3:28 "Amen I say to you, all sins and all blasphemies that people utter will be forgiven them..."
